Bulgogi Stir Fry

A quick Korean-inspired stir fry that comes together before your rice is even done cooking. Works with almost any combination of meats and veggies!

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp sesame oil

1lb thin sliced beef

1 green bell pepper

1/2 pack enoki mushrooms

3 Tbsp shoyu

1 tsp toubanjan

2 cloves grated

1 med carrot

Instructions:

1 Tbsp mirin

sesame seeds

2 tsp sugar

3 Tbsp sake

1/2 med onion


Start by julienning the carrots and slicing the bell pepper and onion. Cut the beef into 3” pieces.

In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, sake, mirin, sesame oil, toubanjan, sugar, garlic, sugar, black pepper.

Now add in the beef, onion, bell pepper, and carrot, and mix so the sauce coats all the ingredients.

Heat a skillet over high heat, and throw in the beef and vegetables.

Cook over high heat until the beef is cooked through, the veggies are softened slightly, and the sauce has reduced by about half.

Serve over a bowl of white rice and top with some sesame seeds.
