Saikoro Steak with Garlic & Ponzu
A simple and fun way to make your steaks more delicious using tangy ponzu and aromatic garlic chips.
Ingredients:
2 wedges
3 Tbsp ponzu
scallion
1 large ribeye, cubed
1 Tbsp
2 cloves
1 Tbsp grated (optional)
Instructions:
Thinly slice the garlic cloves and fry them in a neutral oil over medium heat. Once golden, remove and set aside.

Using the same oil, turn the heat up to high and add the steak cubes. Brown on one side then move around to brown the rest.

While the steak is still cooking, add the butter and mix for about 20 sec.

Next, add in the ponzu and deglaze the pan. Move the steak around and scrape up any fond on the bottom of the pan.

Once the ponzu has reduced by about half, plate the steak and garnish with garlic chips, scallion, lemon wedges, and grated daikon.
