Creamy Kimchi Dip
This spicy, tangy, and creamy kimchi dip pairs perfectly with potato chips, pita, veggies and more. It’s our take on a classic party snack we grew up with.
Ingredients:
2 tsp
3/4 cup
1 cup
1 tsp
Instructions:
chili crisp
3 cloves
2 stalks
Thinly slice the cloves of garlic and lightly fry them in neutral oil until golden.
1.
Next, take the scallions and finely chop some of the greens for garnish and roughly chop the rest.
2.
Combine the kimchi, labneh, scallion, half the garlic chips, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt + pepper in a blender or food processor.
3.
Pulse gently until just combined. (The chunkier the better).
4.
Transfer to a bowl and garnish with chili crisp, the remaining garlic chips, and scallion greens.
5.
Serve with your favorite chips or veggies for dipping!
6.
Notes: Be careful not to burn the garlic chips. Fry them over medium heat and pull them out once you see some color.
We used labneh for this recipe for its thickness, creaminess, and tang. Greek yogurt or cream cheese also work as substitutes.
